night world is way better than twilight, my opinion.

I agree Joan- and yes well loved by some of us older readers before Stepanie Meyers dreamed of Bella and Jacob and sparkly vampires.

I totally agree L.J Smith's works are all better than Twilight. btw I'm new, I totally LOVE L.J Smith and Night World. can't wait till this July.

yeah i agree i started with twilight, but changed into an all supernatural things lover i perfer paranormal romance, but instead of vamps, i like witches the best

it says it's coming out on April 26th of 2010 on goodreads and Amazon, but i've seen some other dates in April as well, so i'm guessing it's in April for sure.

I got the other books and I'm, like, rereading them over and over again!!

I usually say I'm going to re-read the books before the newest book of the series comes out, but I never do. Eventually I go back and re-read them. I can't wait for STRANGE FATE to come out so I know what happens!

y'all saw she's doing a whole NEW trilogy for Vampire Diaries (Stefan's Diaries, prequels) plus waiting for the reprint of The Forbidden Game before Strange Fate is scheduled for release?

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!! a new vampire diaries?! okay i like them, but come on she's milking it
shouldn't strange fate be above the list not on the bottom?
and wait isn't the forbidden games already written once (like 10 years ago when strange fate was suppose to be coming out), so she's not really doing anything for that one

No she's not (in regards to Forbidden Games) though she may do touch-ups like she did for the other re-releases. Ahh...Here's a short article on the matter at Twilight Tales, a site devoted to Smith's works.

And I'm not sure when it was posted, but Smith seems to have a link to Simon's site with the addendum "If you are a fan at all, please tell S&S of your interest or Strange Fate may never be published." Implying its S&S that is at fault for not releasing the book, however a poster on the Amazon thread said after talking to a S&S representative at ALA last year, they hadn't received anything from Smith in regards to Strange Fate...so I'm confused.

What!! i didn't know that :( that's so sad. i hope it's not M'lyn or Ash or Rashel or Keller or Galen or Quinn. NO, i don't want any of them to die

....I really only care about Mary-Lynette and Ash. I have some fondness for Delos though and I'm not keen on seeing Quinn die, or Poppy. Or James. But as long as Mary-Lynette and Ash live, I'd call it a win for me.

Though that does make me worry. Does it count as a victory if all but 2 heroes die?
