Has anyone else noticed this? "Sol" means "sun" in latin. And Sol predicted when the sun would go away-a solar eclipse. Get it? The Erins think of creative names. ;)

ikr! When I first read Long Shadows, I noticed it immediately.
yeah, my mom said Sol was another name for sun, so i knew that, but not that it was latin
I knew it meant sun, i just didn't know which language... and i never connected those two...
Lots of words come from latin or Greek, I've noticed.
so that means that Sol's guess would be exactly right if HE disappeared!
:)So I guess Sol just should've disappeared 'cause then his guess would've been right, and he wouldn't have caused all that trouble!
He's an interesting cat.When my sister saw the picture on Long Shadows, she thought Sol was a dog.

Yeah. I hate when something juicy happens and then someone else talks and you have to wait until the next chapter or so.
