Thanks, though I already made my weekly word count partly because of winter break. The poems and songs should be the most difficult. I don't have the best rhythm...
Just wrote a poem, that leaves the next two days free.
Good job! These are awesome goals -- I've never been one to write poetry, and I can only dream of writing music. Make sure to record some of your songs for us, I want to hear!
Been sort of sick working on a new voice. Havn't written any new anything right now. Just waiting I guess...
This is meant to be the legend in my Novel, it works like a riddle... (Hoping for suggestions to make the concept darker and realer, I’m a pretty fluffy writer)“Upon a day of blackened sun, an unjust war has begun.
To brush kin against kin, until the day this is to end.
As on that day a boy is born, to raise the moon and end our scorn.
He will be lifted by the sun to end the war kings have begun.
Come Midyear will bring the morn this Landless man-child will be born”
Simply said... there is an awful war between three nations. A boy will be born exactly in the middle of the year at sun set, between the morning and the night, to end this war. The boy will be "raised" or trained by the embodiment of the sun, the phoenix. He will "raise" an embodiment of the moon, a dragon. The Landless part is a race I’ve created. Entire races made criminals, and hunted down, forced to wander nomadically(gypsies were the 1st).
The whole plot of the Novel is to justify if the this boy will be a tyrant (like everyone expects) or if he will be the awaited savior of these war burdened lands (this is a thin hope).
So far I suck (at everything), Mcfly rocks, and I'm not a skater girl. Life is ruff.Right now I'm trying to write some short stories while I meditate on my novel.
I started a fairy tale that's been rolling around in my head (sort of like the 12 princesses)
There's also my SiFi story about a boy raised by androdes (he didn't know)
Then there's my story on perspective, manly about Deaf culture (so is a culture)

I have my weekly word count (601 in one story and still not done). I just needed to consentrate and think from a different angle.
2 Poems... an Untitled and Child's Pride. I wrote both today the Untitled was for my blog the second, Child's Pride was just to ease my hurt.
