I know I'll have less free time to read in 2010 than I did in 2009, but let's see if I can make it to 75 books!

Shawna, I'm so glad you sticking with us in 2010. I'm looking forward to seeing what you read this year!
Thanks for the encouragement! After the birth of my first child in September, my reading time decreased dramatically, so this year is going to be a struggle to get to 75 books. But I'm up for the challenge! Maybe I should count children's books . . .Goodnight Moon, anyone?
Shawna, oh my gosh, I think I missed that you are a new mom! Congratulations to you . . . Of course, it totally changes one's life.I'm glad you're already reading kid's books. I started reading to my son when he was 5 months old, and he's an avid reader today at the age of 9 1/2.
Thanks, Kay! I don't think I'd ever be able to forgive myself if my daughter doesn't grow up to be an avid reader :)

How did you like the Reading Group? I like Elizabeth Noble, I've read a few of hers. Fun, light stuff...

Wow! I think you and I must have similar tastes, as I have read or own and want to read several on your list!! You are really doing great on your challenge!

Patterson is SOOOO addictive! Once you read one, you'll want to read them all. Plus, they go quickly--he always has short chapters that you just zoom right through.
