Hi,Penny-I was just wondering about the kinds of books that you read that made you want to be an author yourself.

That's a fine name! And a good question. Above all, it was Gone with the Wind that inspired me. i discovered it when I was about thirteen and I couldn't believe how wonderful it was. I read it almost all night, under the bedclothes with a torch, fell in love with Rhett, wanted to be like Scarlett and thrilled to the stories of the Civil War. And there and then I thought, this is what I want to do , write something that casts a spell on people, makes them forget real life and time and everything else,
