Gatekeepers of the End Times (GET) discussion

Hello, my name is Kobina Fynn, the moderator of Gatekeepers of the End Times (GET). I live in East Timor and am the author of a book called: Gatekeepers - The Quest for Clues to an Age-Old Riddle. This book deals with issues of the end-times, and is the motivation for forming this group, as there is so much that we can learn of each other on such a deep and profound subject.

Hello, I'm a 40 something husband and father and I work in cancer registry. Reading (on many topics) is my favorite hobby but I have other interests as well.

I enjoy discussing religion, spirituality, philosophy, faith (and sometimes finer points of doctrine :-) Over the years I have enjoyed learning other people's points of view on these topics. I have had many opportunities to "agree to disagree" and I feel that learning to express your point of view concerning your faith in a well reasoned argument (and I mean "argument" in the classical sense) is a good way to exercise your faith.

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. I Peter 3:15b (NIV)

I like the title of the group. Gatekeeper of the End Times, does this mean a particular religion or belief. I am curious.

No, did Noah belong to any church. It seems like mankind wants to belong to something. I was always a loner, and I have no idea how a man wife and three children come to salvation, it was such a one on one thing with me. At the time I was living in one room with a bed and the shower was just outside the door, with a wreck of a car.

What if Salvation comes in three parts and all of them is physical. 1. born again 2. receiving the Holy Ghost thirty days later, which has nothing to do with the other spirit in Genesis. 3. the third experience the Holy Ghost will lead you to it.
