The Caldecott will be awarded on January 18, 2010 along with 16 other youth and children awards.

You can listen to the awards live, or watch for it on Twitter, and Facebook.

Should be exciting.

Vote on our polls for the book you think should be our Medal winner in 2010. There are two other polls for the books you think should be honors. I know I have forgotten some wonderful books but I hope I got most of the books the commitee is looking at.

Christine | 1 comments Where do you have the polls listed? I'd love to see the books the committee is looking at. I do a mock caldecott lesson with my elementary school students.
Thanks!

The polls are listed under polls, on the right side of this screen, under the Mock Caldecott 2010 group.

It's really an imperfect system but the best I could come up with. Maybe we will start earlier next year and do a discussion.

Thanks! That was fun. My 2nd honor choice though, would go to "Listen To the Wind".
Thanks.

Thank You, I added it. In fact I remember this is one of the first books I really liked this year. I can't believe I forgot about it. So thank you again for bringing it up. It's a charming story.
