Karen VaughanSome one out there hates comedians and will kill to prove it. One by one comics are being murdered and the police are wasting no time trying to track down a viscious killer.
The comics are receiving a blunt message Be careful of the jokes you tell; they may just kill you.

Hello Everyone,I have just joined this group. If you like romance suspense books - written about places in Canada then maybe you will enjoy my book. It is available as an e-book on Kobo, Amazon (.ca and .com), iBookstore, sony reader, Barnes and Noble, Copia, Baker and Taylor, eSentral and Scribd. The name of the book is Tangled Karma.
Here is a summary for those of you who are interested:
Jemma Towers is lost in her life. Who in their right mind could love her when she does not even love herself? She’s a workaholic with low self-esteem in desperate need of a toe curling orgasm. She is tired of her sexual drought and is now taking advice on her love life from her best friend Tory Carr in order to spice it up. Instead of finding one possibility, she finds two potential suitors - Warren Everett and Rooke Reeves – one with a mysterious dark side and one with a tortured past. Does Jemma really have a choice in love or will her tangled karma make that choice for her? Jemma’s boring, dull life soon turns into a rollercoaster with an unexpected sexual encounter, a murder, two meddling best friends and three quirky felines. Follow Jemma’s journey to find her Mr. Right Now or maybe her Mr. Forever. This is the first book in the “Tangled Trilogy”
Hi Everyone!I have been apart of this group for a couple of years, but I took sometime off because I was spending all my free time writing, and then publishing my book.

Hi All,In order to get my novel to Book Expo Australia this October I've opted to self-publish. The expo is MASSIVE and runs over two days at the Sydney Olympic Park. To help with costs I've set up a crowdfunding campaign in the event anyone feels they can assist. It's kind of embarrassing... but this is a project I really believe in and the reviews I've been getting have been SO positive I just have to give it a go! Ends 15th of Sept.
Profits from any book sales on the book expo weekend will go to Oxfam Australia (check out the link below for full info - the whole reason to print his book is to create entertainment but as a result create revenue for awesome organisations!)
The novel I've written is the first of a series and is a crazy adventure story with Mia Raven as the protagonist. She undergoes some intense events and reflects back to previous escapades that lead her to her current circumstances. Mia, and her friend Veronica Duke and Kevin Manning form a charity type of organisation from scratch, that aims to impact health, education and sustainable living projects in communities in need - BUT the story isn't all goody-goody...things explode, there's some romance, a couple tears and just heaps and heaps of STORY. I had to work to cut it down to under 300 pages...
Here's the link with heaps of info and feel free to ask questions!
- I will email you a pdf or similar (kindle anyone?) of the novel if you pledge anything at all :-D
- Pledges will not be charged until the ending of the funding, but pledging tomorrow will reduce my anxiety levels severely....
- It’s definite that any pledges are in Australian Dollars – that means selecting a $50 pledge is really about $30usd or 23pounds or $46CDN. $30Aud is about $21usd, etc etc….so I know we all have bills to pay and if monies are tight totally ignore this and none offence taken.

Feel free to share this with anyone too.
Cheers Dudes and all the best with your projects!!

"The Tree of Death" by James G. BoswellPedro Oliveira circled a spot on the map that lay unfolded on the table before him. A thin film of sweat shined upon his forehead. Dust motes floated in the light that beamed through the hut’s wooden shutters.
He tapped his pen in the circle as he looked at Isabella Silva and said, “Here’s the place, Professor Silva. The last known location of the Apuelito tribe. It’s a month’s journey from here through the jungle on foot, but you shouldn’t go there. No one should. It’s too dangerous.”
Isabella said, “Thank you, Mr. Oliveira. I appreciate your concern, but I’ve been searching for this lost rainforest tribe for many years. I’m too close now to give up. Besides, I’ve been on a half-dozen expeditions through the jungle, the last two of them by myself. I think I’ll be fine.”
