I returned this one to the library today (Little Giant of Aberdeen County by Tiffany Baker). It was way overdue and I sped to the library on my way to work to return other books and knew that I would get back for a couple days and it wasn't fair for to be hoarding it!...lol
Vera wrote: "7. "Postmistress" by Sarah Blake"Vera, I've been hearing lots about this book and had just put this on my TBR list. What did you think of it?
Vera wrote: "Hey Jan,I thought the title and the book blurb was misleading, but otherwise I really liked it. The writing was beautiful and the story definitely stays with you. I am posting a review on my blog..."
Thanks, just bookmarked your blog!
Vera wrote: "10. "Handle With Care" by Jodi Picoult"How did you like this one? I have only read one or two of hers so far, but I have a few more in my shelf I need to get to....just curious how you liked it.
Vera wrote: "Hi Joy! I loved Handle With Care - I thought it was a typical Picoult, and I say that in the best way possible :)I'm currently reading her new book House Rules"
thanks for letting me know!! can't wait to see what you think of House Rules.
Hi, Vera! For some reason, that book by Jane Porter has grabbed my attention. How well did you like it?
Vera, I really liked The Songs of the Humpback Whales by Jodi Picoult. A lot of her older books are great because they don't follow the formula she seems to use for her newer books.
Of course I don't remember a lot about the book because I read it a long time ago but I think that is a writing style that I usually end up liking....lol

I read that last month, I thought it was pretty good! =)
