Lily looked at the Ice Cream truck, She was Sooo Hungry.

Amaya walked around, her hands shoved deep in her pockets.
She heard the stupid merry tune of an ice cream truck and shook her head, trying to get the sounds of laughter away.
She looked up scowling and saw a kid staring hungrily at the truck.
Amaya cussed at herself, she was always helping people, even when she didn't have anything. She slowly walked over to where the little kid stood.

Lily Felt A hand on Her shoulder. She Gasped and Spun around. Her Eyes were Wide With Fear.

"Hey." Amaya whispered softly.
"What'cha want?" she asked, pulling out a wrinkled five dollar bill she had found abandoned in a gutter.

"I-Ice cweam." Lily replied. She felt She could Trust her.

"Okay, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry? Which one?" Amaya said gently leading the kid closer to the truck.

"chocwate with wainbow spwinkles" Lily said.

"Sure." Amaya said, then stepped up to the truck's window.
"One chocolate cone with rainbow sprinkles." She said to the worker after he asked.

Lily Looked at the girl with wide eyes.

Amaya paid for the ice cream and handed it to the kid.
"want anything else?" She asked.

"no.." Lily said softly

"okay" Amaya said then led the kid back to the street curb.
"hey, what's your name?" she asked.

"Lily. My pawents died when i was two."

Amaya looked at Lily, startled.
Little kids don't normally know when their parents die...
Or even know what death is... She thought to herself.
"That's a pretty name. Mine's Amaya. I never really knew my parents though..." She said to Lily.

Lily Licked the Ice Cream Cone Softly.
"Why? What happen to thwm?"

"Ah... I'm not sure. I grew up with only my brother. But he's gone so I don't have anyone..." Amaya told Lily staring straight ahead with a cold expression on her face.

Lily finished her ice cream and offered Amaya the cone.
"oh. i don't have anywne. the Owfange twied to swell me to abuseiwe pawents."

"Well that's mean... Why'd they try to do that?" Amaya shook her head, letting Lily keep the cone.

Amaya turned around as she realised Lily had stopped walking. The kid's head was low and she thought she could see tears glistening between her bangs.
"Uh...You okay..?" She asked hesitantly. When Lily didn't answer she took her hand again. "Come on, let's go to my house. How old are you?"

(uh... i'm just going to randomly, and boringly, take over the rp even though i'm the only one who reads this one and nobody else will care)


Daniel walked around the curb, not looking where he was going so he ran into some people.
