Evernight Series discussion

so i LOVED this book, and couldnt put it down... i was expecting it to be much longer. too bad we have to wait so long for Afterlife. i really enjoy the characters in the books.

Is afterlife the sequel of hourglass? why does it seems the summary is not connected with hourglass?

Now this book hit me! I cried so much at the end! A book's never made me cry like that before. It was really good! Seeing Bianca and Lucas fighting the world together was jst fulfillg! Makes me wanna take my love and do the same, but what I liked was that other books I've read make it seem like it's easy to run away young, but you could see the hardships with this book. Which made me think twice about running away young, EVER! Haha(:
I'm actually pretty upset Bianca died and turned inti a wraith/: I think she should've jst been a vampire. And now it sucks more so to know that Lucas ends up being one! It's lyk now Lucas and Bianca can never be together the way they were3 totally sucks. I hope their is hope for the next book! I really can't stand them not being together:(

i know, i know Liz. do you mind me calling you Liz? if not tell me. i love it that Lucas would do anything for Binks! and when her birthday came up, god! it was just so romantic! Lucas is awesome! i wish i had someone like that! lolz... sadly that'd might never happen. :(

I read Stargazer yesterday and loved it, read Hourglass today and loved it even more. It was such an emotional book. I think that's why I liked it so much. I was really glad when Bianca turned down Mrs.Bethany's offer to go back to Evernight. I just thought how it would break Lucas's heart.
I like the fact that this isn't just a story of boy meets girl and they live happily ever after, even though that would be easier to read than the hard times L and B have.
The only very small complaint I have is that the build up to them actually "getting together":) was over two previous books so i expected a little more than we got, more adult. I just think that it would hav shown us even more of their relationship and how much they truly love eachother. Instead of it telling you they were going to and then skip the whole thing. ( but hey I'm used to Cat and Bones who are in a whole other leage lol)
I agree with you Lizz, I also cried like a baby at the end. I actually found it quite hard to keep reading. I honestly believed that Bianca would kill Lucas and they would become vampires together, but I guess that would have been too easy. I can't even really think of what is in store for them in the next book. I was a little angry towards the end of the book because Lucas was changed against his will anyway.
This book is right near the top of my favourite list, and I can't wait for the next installment which I'm really glad is ony a few months away.
Sorry this is a little longer than I planned but I had a lot to say... what do you guys think?
