Add your Mystery book for the challenge.

Fictional stories, usually realistic, about a mysterious event which is not explained or a crime that is not solved until the end of the story to keep the reader in suspense.

stevie (doulastevie) | 70 comments I just found this on my bookshelf over the weekend. I had no idea we had it. You ladies should let me know how it is and mayhaps I'll read it as well at some point.

Same here. It was one of the books included in my $20 "bag o' excellence" purchase (from the Jax big book sale) that I don't remember ever picking out.

It's supposed to be a good one!

stevie (doulastevie) | 70 comments Maybe that's where I got it from, too! Haha. Speaking of that book sale, it should be coming up soon!!!

I would be jealous of your puny book sale, but I'm not. MUAHAHAHA!!!

stevie (doulastevie) | 70 comments Well, I'm sure SF has much more exciting things in the world of books. But I am excited nonetheless.

Ah, it's all the same stuff. I'm just pulling your chain.

message 12: by stevie (new)

stevie (doulastevie) | 70 comments Yeah but a city like that must have a better selection in general. For serial.

The best part is all the books are donated to the library for the sale. So they weren't ever actually library books. No tacky shelving numbers/ jacket cover protecters etc. They also have an entire "popular reading list" section with all the good stuff. Only prob is, nothing's in alphabetical order. Erg!

message 14: by stevie (new)

stevie (doulastevie) | 70 comments Crikey. That would suck. However, even though the books are in alphabetical order here, shoving all the S authors together isn't very organized. It took me like 20 minutes to find one Nicholas Sparks book that I didn't have.

Hahaha. By the time I went (in Jax) those were so picked through! I did score The Guardian and a dilapidated copy of Three Weeks With My Brother, both of which I have yet to read. My "to-read" shelf is rapidly getting out of control.

message 16: by stevie (new)

stevie (doulastevie) | 70 comments Me too. I have way too many books and I keep getting more!!! What is wrong with us?

We spend too much of our spare time on Goodreads? ;) Hahaha.

message 18: by stevie (new)

stevie (doulastevie) | 70 comments Naaaaahhhh. That's definitely not true.

Amanda | 102 comments Mod
That's true. After all, what's 2 out of 24 hours? Not much time, that's what.
