Wild for Wilde (wildforwilde) | 3 comments Right now my fav ebookstore is booksonboard.com. They have really good prices/promotions and it's really quick and easy to download onto my iPhone unlike some other sites I've tried. They have a goodreads group that lists their current promotions.

David Tolson (detolson) | 1 comments My ebook shopping experience has pretty much been limited to the two evil empires; Amazon, and Barne and Noble. I like the B&N freature of "book loaning" but haven't used it yet. I own both a Nook and a Kindle.

I find the Nook works better with public domain books (like google) and I like the fact that it doesn't have a hard to use keyboard like the Kindle. Shoppng at Amazon, however, is much easier. Also, I was able to sell a "loaded" Kindle on Cragislist for pretty much what I paid for it.

I'm curious if anyone else has tried both the Kindle and the Nook, and also how these two devices work with independent booksellers like booksonboard and others.

Wild for Wilde (wildforwilde) | 3 comments Most ebookstores should have a how-to page. Here is a how-to page on using the Kindle with BooksOnBoard:

I think the Nook only works exclusively with Barnes and Nobles books. I recommend the Sony reader since you can buy from pretty much any bookseller you want with them. BooksOnBoard.com sells them and other readers as well.

Congrats on selling a Kindle on Craigs for the same price! If only that worked with everything I've tried to sell on there haha

Justy (justy1) | 18 comments I've been getting a lot of my ebooks from Diesel e-books lately, I'm a sucker for their $1 sales. :)
