Well thank goodness for Goodreads. I happily picked up the book today thinking "I am reading a couple of tomes, but I have room for this one". Fondly remember a very satisfying reading experience with Stoker's "Dracula". I was going to pitch right in, but did check the many reviews here. After seeing the mixed bag of mostly unenthusiastic comments, I decided that I would cherish and preserve my gothic dark experience with the original and pass this one. Back to the library with you! Thanks much for the reviews, folks!

I can see your comment was a long time ago. I hated this book and never finished, but I am looking for another one by the same title (why did they let that happen??) by an author named Warrington. I hope that one is closer to the original.
