DJ (djdivaofjava) | 659 comments Thanks Jo!!

January February March | 319 comments I would like to finish reading the Lightning Thief series by the end of February and the Sookie series by the end of March and the Strangers in Paradise 1,2, and 3 by the end of April. I'm ahead on my group reads but behind on my personal reads. Aside from the series I would like to finish Everything is Illuminated, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close and the Dark Divine by the end of this month. There, writing it out makes me feel so much more organized. :)

Micko Lemur (shiftdecimal) Nice, this might give me an excuse to read Empire of the Sun finally.

message 4: by DJ (new)

DJ (djdivaofjava) | 659 comments Hi Micko,
I know its one of those books that we all have at home and want to read but somehow it keeps just slipping through our grasp!

message 5: by Micko (new)

Micko Lemur (shiftdecimal) I also have the sequel, "The Kindness of Women" which reading EOTS will only help it's chances of being read sooner than later :)

Under the Dome - End of January
Empire of the Sun - Mid March
The Count of Monte Cris..."

I will be starting Empire of the Sun next week. I need to start advancing since I am usually behind LOL

January February March | 319 comments I'm still waiting for Empire of the Sun to arrive but I've start the COunt over the weekend! Very exciting!

message 8: by Donna (new)

Donna (dfiggz) I'm probably not going to read the Count... It is too much at the moment.

Dean (cowboys86) | 122 comments Poo, I wish I would've waited to read Empire of the Sun now :(

Wow, I didn't even know there WAS a sequel. I will most definitely be picking it up at some point.

message 11: by Micko (new)

Micko Lemur (shiftdecimal) I'm gonna start Empire now too as I don't have much time to read. Personally I couldn't read a sequel that soon, maybe in a few years or something :)

message 12: by Micko (new)

Micko Lemur (shiftdecimal) You're gonna think I'm really stupid, but I just realised I don't actually own a copy of Empire. Hahahah oh dear. Have fun guys, I have too many books to read that I actually have :)

DJ (djdivaofjava) | 659 comments BRILLIANT :-)

message 16: by Dean (new)

Dean (cowboys86) | 122 comments I so nearly bought The Kindness of Women yesterday when I was in Waterstones. But there was a power outage and when everything came back on the card machine wouldn't work in the shop and I couldn't find a cash machine that was working.

Whenever people here decide to read it I'll just get it then.

message 30: by BookFiend (new)

BookFiend | 1 comments Hello everyone - I'm Sarah and new to the boards.

Currently working on reading through my "to-read" bookshelf. I pick 3 books from that bookshelf - go to the library, and come home with 6 more I wasn't planning on!

I just finished Slightly Dangerous by Mary Balough. I am now moving on to my series books - currently working on the P&P variation three book series by Pamela Aidan - starting with An Assembly Such As This. I am also rereading Outlander by Diana Gabaldon so that I can continue reading the rest of that series. Lastly, I am in the middle (book #4) of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward as well.
