Jill A | 6 comments I'm currently reading "Perfect Nightmare". I'm not that far into it yet and it's already really creeping me out, and not in the good horror book way.(Well kinda in the good horror book way just not what I'm use too. I'm a new reading addict) I'm just wondering if any of you have read it and could tell me if it really goes into detail with the whole sex predator theme. Now, I'm only on chapter five so I know persona of the 'creep' can change. I just want to make sure it's not too sexually invading. If you get what I'm saying.

Dustin the wind Crazy little brown owl (dustpancrazy) I read this and enjoyed it :-) I'll go look up my notes on Perfect Nightmare and post my thoughts. I keep a book journal to record what I thought of each book I read, which is really useful to me - not that I need it so much now that I've found goodreads, but I just discovered Goodreads last summer. I'll be back soon.

Dustin the wind Crazy little brown owl (dustpancrazy) I read Perfect Nightmare in September of 2005, right after it came out. I wrote "A very interesting story. One of the best John Saul books I've read yet...Perfect Nightmare is an abduction mystery - page turning!"

Well, I guess I didn't write a whole lot about Perfect Nightmare but I enjoyed reading it :-)

In my entry for The Husband by Dean Koontz I wrote "The story reminded me of John Saul's Perfect Nightmare which I read almost a year ago because it also deals with a kidnapping. I'd say The Husband is a mix between Perfect Nightmare and Velocity (Dean Koontz)."

Have fun Jill - it's a pretty easy and intriguing read as I remember - let us know what you think :-)
