I have a book by W.H. Auden, but can't find it. I'm pretty sure Mrs. Sypel will show you some of his works next year - most notibly "Funeral Blues" which is beautiful.
Maybe I'll bring in "The Unknown Citizen" to share... I think that was the name of it anyway.
Those of you who are reading, or have read the book may or may not know what I'm talking about.

That's a great idea, Mr. H.
I love the way the characters are developing in this novel! It's so easy to connect with them.

I realized that so far in all the Sarah Dessen books I have read, all of the main characters moms' are all authors and all the books have "Quik Zips". Pretty cool eh!?
That's a great observation. I guess when you're an author you've gotta stick with what you know... I bet it's easier for Dessen to make the mothers authors since she's one herself.
I haven't read any of her other books, but this makes me wonder whether she uses a lot of literary references in her other books like she does with this one.
me nether but she looks like a good person to write books just bye the covers of the books pull me in to read them. :) :)
i just started and the first chapter was boring in my opinion. I fell asleep after i read it. I was also tired though before :)
I just added a poll about Along for the Ride - for those of you who are reading it. : ) It's just for fun.
i havent goten far into it but i always bring a book to convo and will bring that one most likely
so far so good. i've started to move through it a little faster. the girls parents drive me nuts though.
yes very.. her dad is unbelievable

I just started it today, and if I post stuff in here, I don't want to come in and find out the ending of the book before we get there...
