I know that I love to read reviews and write reviews on the books I read. It's a great way to share your oppinions and ideas with others and to learn more about a book you are interested in.

So under this discussion you can make your own like, call it some thing like "Jillians Reviews", and share the reviews that you have writen with others.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Excellent Idea, Heather. I'll be posting mine soon.

I'm going to go back and edit the couple I have posted to indicate the genre as well.

I loved Soulless too. One of my favorite books of 2009. Have you read Changeless yet?

Tema (jx7e) I have wrote a small review on H. Hesse's "Siddhartha", maybe it will inspire someone to read the book http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

Jen (In the Closet With a Bibliophile) (Jen_thebibliophile) @Carolyn - I actually just finished it today about 5 minutes ago. I will be writing my review today, and I will leave a link to it. It ended with a very large cliffhanger of sorts and I simply do not know what I will do until Blameless is out. I think I may mope for the next week or so.

Carolyn F. I know Jen! I had read that in the next book Alexa goes to Italy to find some answers and Lord Maccon becomes a drunk. Which I'm glad of because he was so awful to her. I also can't wait until the next book.

Jen (In the Closet With a Bibliophile) (Jen_thebibliophile) Oh my gosh Carolyn, I am so utterly angry at him right now! I loved him and then all at once I wanted to throw him out the window and pour some silver down his throat, the brute! I cannot wait for Blameless. I'm glad Alexia is who she is though. If she was to be all mopey, I'd be very upset. It's very out of character for her!!

Carolyn F. I read the sneak peek at the end of Changeless and I loved how even though her family were totally being mean, she was handling it so well. I could see her just moving on, if Lord Maccon doesn't get his act together.

Jen (In the Closet With a Bibliophile) (Jen_thebibliophile) I know, buy oh, I do still have some feelings for the horrible blighter! I do hope he cleans it up and comes groveling back. I deserves some very hard slams with her parasol! Of course she would not make it easy for him, as she shouldn't. Its hard to have such conflicting emotions for the idiot. I love him and hate him all at once.

Carolyn F. I remember the beginning of Changeless where he's yelling at the ghost and how sweet he was to her. I really do hope everything turns out a little better in Blameless.

Jen (In the Closet With a Bibliophile) (Jen_thebibliophile) I think it will. It's not like an author to make you fall in love with a character only to make them suck. The only thing I've really seen is when they kill them off, but I doubt it. I am sure he becomes an alcoholic because of the whole situation. It's not so easy to fall in love with someone only to let it go. I don't care if you are a werewolf! That would be a horrible character development move on Ms. Carriger's part, don't you think?

*whispers conspiratorially* by the way Carolyn, you must tell me where you get your knowledge for Blameless. I am so excited, I can barely hold it in. :D

message 16: by Carolyn F. (new)

Carolyn F. I think it was on her website. Someone on Goodreads mentioned they had read it there. She's also on Facebook so it might have been there. There's another group that has a page just about Gail Carriger.

Jen (In the Closet With a Bibliophile) (Jen_thebibliophile) yesterday I finished reading The Forest of Hands and Teeth (The Forest of Hands and Teeth, #1) by Carrie Ryan . I liked it, although I've discovered I'm completely afraid of Zombies. :D

Jen (In the Closet With a Bibliophile) (Jen_thebibliophile) Elyssa and myself participated in a BATTLE OF THE BOOKS involving us submitting 2 separate reviews for the same book, with differing opinions. Check out the post here and comment for who you think should win!
