Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch came along.

Nora should have known her life was far from perfect. Despite starting a relationship with her guardian angel, Patch (who, title aside, can be described anything but angelic), and surviving an attempt on her life, things are not looking up. Patch is starting to pull away and Nora can't figure out if it's for her best interest or if his interest has shifted to her arch-enemy Marcie Millar. Not to mention that Nora is haunted by images of her father and she becomes obsessed with finding out what really happened to him that night he left for Portland and never came home.

The farther Nora delves into the mystery of her father's death, the more she comes to question if her Nephilim blood line has something to do with it as well as why she seems to be in danger more than the average girl. Since Patch isn't answering her questions and seems to be standing in her way, she has to start finding the answers on her own. Relying too heavily on the fact that she has a guardian angel puts Nora at risk again and again. But can she really count on Patch or is he hiding secrets darker than she can even imagine?

i really like this book & its my favorite <3 from the many-well few compared to other peoples bookshelves- books ive read

It's a great book, and I can't wait to see what the author is going to come out with next. I hope that the next book is just as good.

i do too!!! lolz she is gonna have a book signing about an hour or 2 from where i live & she might give something out buttt itz far so i doubt ill go :/

I wish, I've never actually gone to a signing, I really want to though.

me either thats why i wanna go cuz i stopped reading & when i read hush hush i started reading again so that too, the book that started it all. :)

Ya my parents think that I read too much too, but just tell them that you could be spending your time doing worse things.

haha thats what i tell them. but my dad would take me i just need to be "good" but i dont know they are like ohh wat do u read? & im not gonna tell them so i say some parts :)

You don't tell your parents what you read? I don't really either, but that's cause they don't really ask.

i do but when i read about teen prblems i only say about half but ya they dont really askk :p

Its not stupid!!! It gives you ideas on what to read next and helps you keep track of what you have read, plus you make new friends and its funnnn!!! =D

I happened to pick this book up one day at the library. I didn't really know what to expect. Wow, I was shocked. I loved this book. It was written differently and the whole book it self was something that didn't feel like a re-read. Which made it a refreshing read.

I'm not sure, but I was hooked right from the start and thought the whole book was interesting.

completely! && i dont have the book with me right now, but i think its around 20? but almost everything is important so just keep on track :)

I love books and movies that have little hiden things in them that you might not think are important but they all add up at the end it all comes together, like the Da Vinci Code or Sherlock Holmes.

i know but then feel like i have to reread or see the movie again.

ya i cant wait for all of it to add up heehee

A really good book
