i've been thinking about that. i think that when she's under their control, she doesn't really have emotions. To kind of protect herself, she locks away her real self deep inside and doesn't have any feeling, so she's kind of like a robot. but if she starts having feelings, she sort of comes out of it. and the stronger they get, the more she reverts back to her real self. does that make any sense?

any emotion except fear, i guess. when she's subject 13, she's used to just being numb. when she starts having a feeling, it bugs her because she can't tell what it is. but if she feels it strongly enough, she sort of goes back to being lena. but i guess fear is what makes her revert back to subject 13 to protect herself from being hurt

and pain. fear and pain make her go back to subject 13

goodie. i guess lena turned out to be kind of a nutcase
