Hi Bev! Thanks for the invite. I read the synopsis for your book. Sounds great. I can't wait to read it. Jackie: I didn't see your link?
Hey Bev, Thanks for the invite!Like you I started reading about when I was 13 too. I started with a borrowed copy of a Iris Johansen book. Now I read every romance I can get my hands on.
I don't think I could ever write a romance so I'm content to be a reader of great authors like yourself. My favorites are Nora Roberts, Eloisa James, Julia Quinn, and Lisa Kleypas. They always have a spot on my keeper shelf.
Hi Calila,
Glad you joined! LK can't do wrong by me. I did absolutely adore JQ's When He Was Wicked. It was darker and sexier than she usually writes and I guess that's why I absolutely LOVED it. One of my favourite reads.

Thanks Samantha! I'll just tell you I think the back cover blurb makes it seems lighter than it is. It's quite angsty with my dark and brooding hero. LOL.

Montreal? I used to live there when I was very young. Do you speak French?

LOL. Wow, Christine, I thought I was doing a lot. But, honestly, this is so much more fun than I could have had at my old day job. It's a lot of work but I love it!! And I know you must too.

Thanks for the invite Beverley. I'm a reader not a writer and I enjoy all types of romance as I like to mix them up with other genres. Some of my favorite authors are Jane Feather, Jocelyn Kelley, Suzanne Enoch, Connie Mason, Julia Quinn and too many more to even list.I haven't heard of your new book but I'll definitely check it out.
Hi Bev,thanks for invite me.
I'm from Poland.
I started reading romances probably at the age of 12 years, from Harlequins, historical to fantasy.
My favorite author is Nora Roberts (also aka. JD Robb).
Hi Bev,Thank you for the invite. Congrats on your first novel. I'm a published author I write contemporary, fantasy and sci/fi romance always with an HEA, but my favorite genre to read is probably historical. Highlanders anyone?
Loved your excerpt, just downloaded it to my Kindle.

Hi Bev,Thanks for the invite!
Like Bev, I'm also a Regency historical romance writer for Kensington. Naturally, I love historicals, but have been known on occasion to rave about contemporaries and romantic suspense.

Hi Bev,Thanks for inviting me to the group. I am a contemporary western romance published author--love cowboys whether historical or contemporary.
I love to read, and will read just about everything from historicals to romantic suspense. Right now I'm reading "A Breath of Snow and Ashes" by Diana Gabaldon. Not strictly romance, but Jamie and Claire have an enduring relationship that always includes romance.

Welcome to all the newcomers. So happy you accepted my invite.
Hi Emmanuelle! So glad you joined.
I wanted a group that wasn't only reader friendly, but author friendly too. LOL. You won't get slapped on the wrist for telling us you have a book coming out. :) I think readers love to find new authors, and are free to chose which books they want to buy and which they don't.

I may not post often, but I'm a huge fan of historical romance and look forward to popping in from time to time and discussing favorite books :)
Hi Bev,Thank you for the welcome. I just so happen to have a new release coming out. It's not a historical it's a contemporary romantic intrigue. Chances Are will be available from Red Rose Publishing on 1/28. Check out the book trailer on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQu261...

Hi Bev,Thanks for the invite! I will likely lurk more than participate, but I promise I'll chime in if I have something to say. (you'll be sorry!)
Lori
Hi Bev,Thanks you so much for the invite. This looks like a fun place to visit. I'm a new romance author with my first short story to be released this year. I've been reading romance since I was 12 and have been hooked ever since. I'm also a bookseller and I love chatting about books. Looking forward to some great discussions.

And Danielle, you know I want the historical love EVERYWHERE. LOL. And to everyone.
Hey Tricia, tell us about your store.

Hey Tricia, tell us about your store.
Unfortunately, Bev, the store where I worked is one of the 200 Waldenbooks that are slated for closing. But, luckily, there are some investors interested in opening an independent bookstore since our county will be without a place to buy books. If all goes well, I'll be working there soon.
Awww Tricia. I'll cross my finger. That's insane to close a bookstore. Of course, I'm biased since I love books but still I couldn't imagine being without a book store around
Hi Sandra,Isn't the Outlander series amazing. I love their love story and find Jamie to be the ultimate hero. Love him. I look forward to reading your books because I also love cowboys. lol

Hi Bev,Thank you for starting this group! My debut novel from Kensington was released last week (and thanks again for tweeting it!) and I'm finally calming down, lol. I hope sales of Sinful Surrender are going well!
Hi Bev,I am delighted to be part of this group! I'm a debut historical romance author for Penguin/Berkley. I've been reading romance novels since I was fourteen and look forward to discussing favorites. Oh, and among the first romance novels I read were books by Johanna Lindsey, too. :)

I've been reading romance novels since the age of 13 (so very young). I started with Harlequin Presents and branched off to every other kind of series, publisher I could find who published romance. I started reading historicals probably by the age of 16, and Johanna Lindsey was my first.
I wanted to write since I was very young and made a real attempt in college at the age of 19. I tried to write a category for Harlequin. I didn't quite finish the book. LOL. November 2006, I decided I would try to finish a historical. I did. That book is Sinful Surrender.
I read single title contemps, historicals (of course), category (Presents, Desire, some Blaze). My favourite authors are Lisa Kleypas and Sarah Mayberry. I'm always on the hunt for new authors and books to add to my keeper shelf.
