George Stewart thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel found the flow to be perfect resulting in me not wanting to put it down. The Author has created a world that none of us could understand as we live in our comfortable homes with all of the trappings of the modern world .These were special people who were willing to follow church leaders with out question and I loved the links to the real story .Tragically the reference to it being a mormon story may stop some people from reading it that would be a loss to them .This is a warm story about good people some from Britain (the depiction of the mines was very moving and sadly it is 100% accurate ) The underlying Love story gives hope in a world that underplays the importance of loving someone for who they are inside .

Loved the book thank you

George Stewart

Allisonjediknight This I think is your standard Gerald Lund novel-Historic with some romance thrown in but it gave me a new appreciation for what the early saints went through after arriving in Salt Lake. You can relate it back to yourself in many ways.
