5. The young emo couple stood in the rain holding a sign that read, "just hungry," so I tossed them some crackers from my car window.
(Somebody said something to me along those lines the other day, actually. I asked him if he liked almonds before I remembered that he's deathly allergic to nuts)

Wow, such dark first sentences. On a lighter note,22. The rain tapped gently at the parched earth, synthesizing a rhythm that awoke the forest.

Okay, so basically what you do, is write down a sentence (or sentences) that you feel to be inspiring. Make sure you number them, just because it looks cool like that.
Note: You're not writing a story, it's just a whole bunch of random sentences that are cool, you just make up on the spot, or are amazing ways to open up a story.
I'll start, just cause I'm cool like that :D
1) The idea of flying haunts me to the core. (It's not that great, but oh well!)
