Romance Lovers for the Challenge-Impaired discussion

How many different subgenres of Paranormal Romance are out there? A lot! Vampire romance, werewolves, shape-changers, demons, angles, witches/sorcerers, fae, immortals, gods and goddesses, etc. The list could go on and on! What type of subgenre(s) are you favorites in paranormal romance?

I myself started reading Vampire Romance books in 1996, and I must say that still remains my favorite, even though I enjoy the others as well.

After reading the Fever series, and the Dark Swan series, I've become a huge 'Fae Fanatic'.

After some recent reads, vampires and demons are on the top of list. Followed by shapeshifters.

I've loved shapeshifters since I read some of Andre Norton's books a long (long) time ago. I also really enjoy characters who possess some sort of paranormal ability and vampires since starting out with Chelsea Quinn Yarbro's Saint Germaine (probably the grand-daddy of all "romantic" vampires).

Really? Now, I feel like I can't continue living until I get my hands on a copy of The Saint-Germain Chronicles. I love the cover, and amazon.com will love me in a few minutes, LOL!

I really like werewolves and witches/warlocks.
