This so far is an excellent book on psychology. Very easy to understand without a PHD and provides many examples of how are irrational behavior is really not that irrational. Many lessons can be learned from how you conduct both your personal and professional lives.

Apparently, Dan Arielly has an ongoing debate with Tim Harford, author of The Logic of Life, about whether or not rational self-interest is the basis of human behavior. Check it out on You Tube.
After finishing this book a few weeks ago, I'm constantly remembering many of the experiments the author presents, specially when everyday situations remind me of them.I think this is what I loved about this book: the author's many stories that illustrated each aspect about which people seem to be Pedictably Irrational.
