Midnight Sun [2008 Draft]

Edward's version or Bella's?
No thanks!... If you continue reading you will realize he is actually a oil-the-windows-to-get-inside-her-bedroom-to-watch-her-sleep kind of psycho-stalker

Not really instead of, more like, "along with". I want to read BOTH of their perspectives.
I think I liked it better in Edward's view than Bella's the only thig that would make me throw the book (computer?) across the room is if I had to read anymore of Jacob's view!

I totaly agree!
I like Edwards view, and I would have loved to see how he delt with things in book two when he is away from Bella. If he struggles so much trying to not be with her, I could only imagine what it was like when he was forcing himself to be away from her.
Edwards ... when he is describing the scene where Bella walks into science class and he "smells" her for the first time....All I could hear in my head was Drowning Pool's "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" ... when I went to S Meyer's playlist for the book and saw Drowning Pool ... I just had to laugh!
Edward's. You get much more from his perspective than from Bella's, since he can hear everyone's thoughts. And you get to see that he's not perfect like he is in Bella's mind.
It's more interesting in Edward's point of view. Meyer's writing and her characterization skills improved some from the first novel. Edward is more multi-dimensional and interesting. He might be a stalker but at least he is SOMETHING. Bella was boring... she only had one thought - Edward. I also agree that Jacob was irritating.
Jacob was a 15 year old boy ... aren't they all or at least most of them irritating at that age? Most (not all) teenagers think it is their God given right to be self-absorbed and a little one sided... it is the age. And after all ... don't we as parents let them let them be this way at least a little bit ... because we know that in a few years they will have to grow up and live in reality ... which we all know is never as much fun.

i dont tell me parents half of wats going on in my life. they dont get it. its always about being a model student and acting like an angel. Hi, im Magg. Im new.
i don't particularly like the twilight series...sorry:(.I just never "clicked with it. But I have read all the books, and Edwards is pretty good. God, Bella drove me insane, i swear to god...one of the most annoying characters, unfortunately. Though the rest of the characters are pretty awesome. Haha. Aka, Alice.**Just my opinion...**

Ooh, i know...i just found Jacob annoying. I found it really hard to read his part:(. And renesemee, ahh. I don't know. I just found her...irritating.
Yeah, every one just loves her in the book and in real life the only one who hates her is Alice and even then not really... but yes irratating is a good word for her.
Haha...yeh, all the characters loved her. Which annoyed me. But anyway, the only one who every really didn't like her was Alice but like you said, not even really then. Only because she couldn't "see". I think Stephanie Meyers could have created a much better character. And i never could really see Bella and Edward as parents even after Renesmee was born.
As much as I like Edward and would be happier to read Midnight Sun than Twilight, I have to admit that it was Twilight that introduced me to Edward, not the other way around. Both are okay, as long as not Jacob's point of view...

I totally agree. Edward was way more interesting, even though his actions were incredibly creepy. I really have no proper way to describe it because both of them have their faults, but I would prefer reading Edward's take on things any day of the week (at least he made me laugh more than once while reading it). My only disappointment is that Stephanie Meyer stopped writing it because the partial draft had got onto the internet - it's pathetic.
I would have liked to read the parts where Bella was pregnant from Edward point of view. From Jacobs POV we get that he was devastated enough, but I would like to see and hear the details. I might be a sadist. :PWithout Jacob's POV there wouldn't be any chance to know what happened with him. And everyone has to admit that he is way too important to be left out.
Edwards version was definitely creepy, i have to admit. Like the things he did...*shakes head*. Come on, i would find i extremely creepy if there was a guy in my room watching me sleep. But his version did make me laugh a lot more, in general it was much better. And, i agree...alice is definitely my favourite character, she is awesome. Carlisle is also pretty cool.

If anyone other than Bella, should have been included, it's Edward. I would much preferred to read HIS view and it be Jacob's that's getting rusty on SM's hard drive, incomplete. That's just me though.
hmm, i like rosalie. Like, no doubt she can be a b****. And then in Breaking Dawn, she doesn't care about anything but Bella having the baby because thats all she has every really wanted. But...thats just who she is. I like her character though, she's awesome. She has attitude and attitude is good.
Do you think that Stephanie will ever publish midnight sun???? if so I would definitely buy the whole series again to read it in Edwards point of view.
I absolutely loved it from Edward's perspective. I keep hoping that she'll release Midnight Sun one day. And I agree with Hermina; the whole pregnancy/birth chapters would've been so much better from Edward's pov. I love Jacob, but I didn't like his view at all.
i think bella's view was really gud.. but i really really really loved it from edward's perspective.. it was so damn romantic tat way and it shows how love struck he is...but honestly if i had read midnight sun b4 twilight i dont think i would have loved it as much..
i liked both points of view, but edward's perspective brought more to the life of the book in terms of imagery and understanding why he did the things he did.
I think Stephenie should have finished this book. Both books are good, but Midnight Sun answers the questions brought up in Twilight. You can't have one without the other, but if i had to chose then Twilight would still have to be the one published because you can relate more to Bella
