Laura (laurastamps) I tried to order these from my local Waldenbooks and B&N, but they couldn't get them, so I will have to get them directly from Ellora's Cave. That's the thing. I never have any trouble ordering Samhain titles that way but 50% of the print titles I want from Ellora's Cave aren't available through Waldenbooks or B&N (or Amazon). Who knows why? But I will read them at some point...I promise!! *big smile*

Auntee | 86 comments Get them from the Cave, Laura. I think there's free shipping after $35.00.
I got mine used on Amazon--I don't mind used at all, as long as they're in decent shape!

B&N and Borders rarely carry any Ellora's Cave books in my area stores, unless they're anthologies. I wonder why?

Laura (laurastamps) Thanks, Auntee. That's exactly what I'm going to do. I have been making a list the last few weeks of all the books I haven't been able to get, so I can order them direct from EC. That's the thing that surprises me. My Waldenbooks has a very good selection of EC books and Samhain titles, so you wouldn't think there would be a problem, but there is for EC.

I think the EC antholgies may be easier for your store to get because many of the ones I have bought lately have been published by a big publisher (Pocket Books), kind of a joint venture, so they get better distribution.

The other thing that surprises me is this. Both Samhain and EC titles are published as POD books, and I believe Samhain used EC's printing facilities, since the President of Samhain (Chris Brashear) started out as one of the original people at EC. Yet Samhain has better distribution to the chains than EC? Kinda weird. I think Samhain also has better covers.

BTW, guess what I picked up yesterday?

--"Running wth the Devil" by Lorelei James
--"Long Hard Ride" by Lorelei James

All your suggestions! Looking forward to reading those. Big fun!
