How did you like The Strain? I have it in my piles and it looks good
I loved it, read it in 2 days. The idea just griped me, 'dead' plane on runway, all on board dead, the white worm etc. Most of all the relationship between Eph and his son Zack. I can't wait until the next one. Do read it soon and let me know how you found it.
How did you like Magic to the Bone? I have this book on my to-read pile.
I found the whole book to be unique and fresh, well worth the time I spent reading it. Read it now !

Have now! Definitely one to read. Will put it on my "when I want something that's not PNR/UF" pile (much as I love the genre I need a break every now and then!!). Checked and my library has a copy.

I found it ok enough to make me want to read the rest of the series as well as the companion book. Plus I have seen alot of good reviews on this site about the whole series.

The books are PNR. They are about Selkies' and the humans who fall in love with them. I enjoyed the books as they are refreshingly different from other PNR books I've read, mainly that the paranormal person is a Selkie and not a vampire, were, shifter or fairy like so many others.I'd say read them for a refreshing new world in the PNR genre. Enjoy !
