Who's everyone's favorite character?


Mine is Lyra, but I also like Iorek Byrnison and Pantalaimon. They're my 2nd favorites.

i tried re-reading the series so many times because i liked them so much but i cant seem to get through them again. my favorite character is byrnison but in the third book mrs. coulter turns good so i learn to like her through the book, mrs. coulter and lord asriel die in the last one right? i read the books a long time ago

havent read them in FOREVER... and i HATED mrs. coulter! she was so EVIL! and i font remember who died...

i HAVE read the books... back a few yrs ago... and i read SO many books, i tend to forget the ones i read farthest back... i remember the sad ending though... not a happy ending there...

Mrs. Coulter! I loved reading about her, especially in The Amber Spyglass, but also in The Golden Compass. She was a great villain and I do think she redeemed herself. I also liked Lyra and Will of course.

Lyra is definately my favourite because she has so many layers to her. She has a lot of depth and eventhough the book is a fantasy, you can still relate to the characters.
I also love Will and the love that blooms between Lyra and Will.

Yup yup. Lyra, Will, the Love. best part of the book to me =D

I really like Serrafina Pekkala. She was such an interesting read that I was quite sad when she was barely on Amber Spyglass. I felt like a lot of the main characters that were on the Golden Compass and Subtle Knife were completely forgotten on Amber Spyglass. I mean, Iorek was barely on Amber Spyglass and he was a really interesting character, too!

Another favorite of mine was Lord Roke. I can't wait till the Amber Spyglass movie to see how they will portray the Gallivespians!

I don't think they are making the Amber Spyglass or Subtle Knife into a movie. The Golden Compass didn't make enough money. Right?

Oh, I thought they were... I thought it was Eragon they weren't going to do anymore? Ah, I hope they'll change their minds if this is true...

I thought the movies were alright.. I much prefered the books though. I don't usualy like watching movies for books (ruins my image of the characters)
and it always bothers me when they change things. (I don't like change =P) So i'm kinda neutral with the movie. Doesn't really matter to me if they make a new one or not =O

Me too. I did not like the Golden Compass movie.

I think most of the actors could've been better.. and they cut alot of stuff out. =(

i hvnt seen the movie yet... but i want to see it ^^ even if it DOES suck, i want to see how bad. and besides, i like making fun of bad movies.

my fav bad movie to make fun of, currently, is HP 4. SO funny to make wise-a** comments bout it. and my MOM started makin fun of it w/ me last time XD! i still need to watch golden compass though...
