Thats a series of books right? Have you read the whole series or just the first one? Is it worth reading?

It's a series of three books, but you can get all three in one in this edition- Kissed by an Angel Collector's Edition: It's nothing epic, more like an entertaining light read. I'm not a huge mystery gal, but I enjoyed it none the less. It was written in 1995 but it's still enjoyed today. If you don't want to spend the money, try to your library:)

lol! where i live, i have to wait two month after the world-wide release of a book to get my hands on one! and most of the books that i ask of the bookstore are mostly ones they haven't ever heard about. So i'll have to wait another 2 weeks to get it shipped.
I am a bit concerned about getting me a copy of Angel Star in time. But i WILL make sure i get my hands on it one was or another within May 18-20th. I have to make a few calls, that's all and a little bit of begging as well. lol

Guys, stop worrying! :) You're bookstores will be able to order it if it doesn't show up on the shelf.
maddi wrote: "oh, i believe in my bookstore. Barnes and Noble is my best friend.(="
Me too!! It's an obsession. I was just there yesterday. But strangely, I refrained from buying anything. I was meeting with my awesome photographer friend about promo ideas.
Stores simply cannot shelve each and every book published (unfortunately) so if you find that the book isn't on the shelf when you walk in - which hopefully it will be - you CAN order it through the store. It's also available for pre order on Amazon and at Barnes & Noble right now.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO, JENNIFER, WHY?!TRAITOR!! ^_^
We forgive you, though. I have yet to order my copy, too...
ok, rub it in u 2!! Forgive me for saving a buck and ordering a used copy with one day shipping!!! I have a soft spot for used books, I feel sorry for them!
maddi wrote: "hey!!! no making us forgive you by making us feel sorry for used books too! it's against the rules...(Tom, can you make that a rule for me?)
and the bookstore in Wildwood i sent you a link..."
Ok, fine. I checked all my B&N's and they didn't have Coffeehouse Angel. So I realized, I've spent entirely TOO much money there lately that I would wean myself and give Amazon a try. Now I've probably made myself addicted to two places! And the third will be the used bookstore in Wildwood, THANKS TO MADDI! :)

Hey, you're broadening your horizons by reading - that's worth every penny!

i find that funny(="
This is probably a soap opera for them. Hey other members, pass the popcorn!

I had picked up another book and was confusing myself with what I had already read. lol
I would also suggest you read Maximum Ride. I haven't read that book for awhile, but from what I do remember its a tasty read. ;)
I agree with you on Hush,Hush. Even though i was really surprised at what the book offered in a story point of view as books that catch my attention so quickly are rare, but at the same time i started to see some really really big similarities with a Vampire book i read a long time ago. But in story vise point-of-view, i stand by my verdict that this book is a real rare treat in the character development and story telling. Can't wait for Crescendo to come out.
PS: the book might be draggy at first, but its just a way of putting things into perspective though that slow start and later it just races on.
About Max Ride series, i've read the first book and i am really trying hard to find a place for that book on my minds-bookshelf!
And the cover art of Hush,Hush was the icing on the cake for that book.

I don't have a Barnes and Noble....I'm a Borders fan. :)
I work at Barnes and Noble part-time just for the discount lol! It's my favorite by far, but I do go to Border's from time to time.I would like to recommend Eternal, it's a YA about a guardian angel who falls in love with the girl he's guarding.
Also there is a fantasy adult series about angels who serve as the dictators for Jovah (their god). The first in the series is Archangel, it's about a girl has been forced to marry the angel that is soon to take the head of the land. Beautiful story one of my favorite books ever!

I've been in a Barnes and Noble bookstore before on vacations and I do love to see the different variety. If I had one I would go in. ;)

Was that Revealers by Amanda Morrone? That was really good.

Was Revealers Good? I'm still iffy on that one. Is it a stand alone or a sequel to a first book?

It's a stand-alone. All of hers seem to be.
I'm still waiting for my copy from Amazon!!!Added three books to my list here, check them out!
Bloodring, Seraphs and Host by Faith Hunter.
Uh-oh. I think I might have to betray B&N...
And shop at... **Cringes**
Amazon.
Cuz I don't have time to go out right now, and I really want to read it, and...yeah. :(
Don't kill me, Maddi!!
Those look interesting! I normally don't read anything but YA, but I'll see if my Library carry's it:)*Edit*
Nothing at my Library and it's temporary out of stock at Chapters:)
I'll have to wait on these...
Just got suggestions for three new books to be added to the group. You WILL wanna check these out. They are three books from a series called Thorn St. Croix by Faith Hunter. Be sure to read it.
If you have already read the books, please do discuss what you think about the story and all. No spoilers though.

Description of the three, Thorn St. Croix books :
Bloodring (Thorn St. Croix, Book 1)
In a near-future world, seraphs and demons fight a never-ending battle. But a new species of mage has arisen. Thorn St. Croix is no ordinary "neomage." Nearly driven insane by her powers, she has escaped the confines of the Enclaves and now lives among humans. When her ex-husband is kidnapped, Thorn must risk revealing her true identity to save him.
Seraphs (Thorn St. Croix, Book 2)
The thrilling follow-up to Bloodring from "a new, strongly unique voice in the dark fantasy genre." (Kim Harrison)
Living among humans in a post-apocalyptic ice age, neomage Thorn St. Croix has learned to count on her friends, but she's lost count of her enemies. She is a source of both fear and fascination for the people of Mineral City: Her powers can save them from the forces of evil, but also attract demon spawn and succubae. And fighting on her own turf nearly gets Thorn and those she holds dear killed.
But Thorn's ultimate test awaits deep under the snow-covered mountains beyond the village, where an imprisoned, fallen seraph desperately needs her help. There, hidden in the hellhole, the armies of Darkness assemble to ensure this subterranean rescue will be Thorn's final descent.
Host (Thorn St. Croix, Book 3)
In a post-apocalyptic ice age, neomage Thorn St. Croix was nearly driven insane by her powers. She lived as a fugitive, disguised as a human and married to a human man, channeling her gifts for war into stone-magery. When she was discovered, her friends and neighbors accepted her, but warily. Not so the mage who arrives from the Council of Seraphs, who could be her greatest ally-or her most dangerous foe. And when it's revealed that her long-gone sister, Rose, is still alive, Thorn must make a choice-and risk her own life in the process.
