Jeanne McBride | 2 comments I really do not read great literature. Well after I finish Shades of Midnight will probably read Atlas Shrugged the only Rand book I have not read. And each night I do read some of Paradise Lost by Milton.
I do have boxes of books I should sort through and start listing titles for people who might want them. Most is eye candy, just books I have picked up and read since I do not watch much TV.

Lizz | 2 comments I hear ya Jeanne. I enjoy fluff writing quite often myself. I go back and forth between reading stuff that has been deemed good writing, and stuff that is just fun.

Agreed. Like Jeanne and Lizz, I kind of alternate between lighter reading and what I mentally call "book club books."

A week or two ago, we did some painting at home. This required moving books. I went through them all and have passed some along to friends, given some to a local book sale and offered some here, etc.

Jeanne McBride | 2 comments I was thinking of taking my boxes of books to Barts.
They have a web site now. Local place. Just search Barts Books Ojai. But here is a brief blurb on the place. You can get a book 24/7 at the place just pass the money through a slot in their door.

In lieu of a cash register, "Bart" left coffee cans atop the book cases. People would select a title or two and leave payment in the cans, giving birth to Bart's world famous tradition of selling books via the honor system.
