16) Which Witch? by Eva Ibbotson (Don't make fun of me just cuz I'm reading a kid's book! It was good!) Which Witch?
WOW! I really like your list :D I've always wanted to read a book about a time machine ^^ is the one you've read any good?
I also really want to read Catcher in the rye, but some of my friends say it's really boring.. what do you think?
I love Jane Austen! and Pride and Prejudice is my all-time favourite book! I just love the story, the characters, the setting and everything.
I haven't read Sense and Sensibility iet, but i'm going to do so soon.
and you've read the Princess Bride! did you like it? i think it sound really exiting ^^
keep up the great work ;)
Thanks!!The Time Machine, it was WAY different from the stories about time travel today. It was a kind of dark type of foreboding, and it was kind of exciting. I think it was kinda slow in the beginning though, but if you like a good range of vocab. and some math and science in the beginning, it's actually a pretty good book. I recommend it! ^_^
Catcher in the Rye: I liked it, because it was really very typical of a normal teenager. That J.D. Salinger was able to accomplish this while actually carrying a plot was astonishing! It's kinda slow and boring at parts, but that happens with a lot of books, right?
BEWARE: There's a lot of swearing, so.. ^_^
I LOVE JANE AUSTEN TOO!!!
I loved the Princess Bride, it was serious, funny... One of the best books ever!! READ IT!! ^_^ lol
^^Different from time travel like real happy and exciting, a little bit of action and some weird stuff from the future?
I think I like that it's kind of dark and exciting. and I've read a lot of books that are slow in the beginning (and further on..) that's still been good, so I think I would survive it ;)
I also like books with logic and math and science in them, 'cause that just makes them even more exciting.
So thanks a lot! I will definitely read it now ;)
I like it when someone manages that too. but isn't that the book about what happened in Ireland..? and it does happen to some books and they can still be good all together. every book is some kind of an experience after all ;)
a lot of swearing in catcher in the rye? :P
YAY!! *HIGH FIVE FELLOW-JANE AUSTEN LOVER!!! :D
have you read any of her other books iet?
I've read Pride and Prejudice, Persuasion, Northanger Abby and Mansfield Park.
Which one is your favourite? Have you read some of her other work or her unfinished work?
WOW! :D I love books that can be both serious and funny at the same time! I have to read it then! :D ^^
It's like a fairy tale, right?
ohh, and Meg Cabot is the one who's written Sex and the City, right? Is she any good reading? I guess she is, since you've read so much by her :P
Meg Cabot is a really good writer, I love her! ^_^Actually, Catcher in the Rye is about a high school-age kid who keeps getting kicked out of his posh schools, and how is life is turned upside down by yet another expulsion. ^_^
I've only been able to read two, but I'm trying to get a hold of the other ones! How was Mansfield Park?
Lol!
wow! I should try her then:P okay.. :P I must have mixed in my head with some other book..
Mansfield Park was another one of my favourites so far.. ohh, but I love them all .. -.- I think it's my second favourite after Pride and Prejudice.
it's about a poor girl who comes to live with her rich aunt, and she's always kind of looked down at because she's poor, but she's the ultimate Jane Austen heroine. It's a really great love story with quite a lot going on. It's pretty long too, which is great I think.
I love it so I definitely recommend it.
Yeah, but I think Eragon was the only SUPER good one. Christopher just kinda went downhill after that... :(But I love him anyways!!
ERAGON IS MINEEE
