My name has "Amare Infinitum" in it; I took two Latin words and put them together, but I'm not sure if the grammar is correct. From what I've gathered, Amare means "to love" and Infinitum means "to infinity", so I wanted to put those two words together in a phrase. Could anyone tell me if I've done this correctly, or correct me if I haven't?
What does infinitum mean? I read on a Latin site that it meant 'to infinity'. Thanks for answering my question.
i can only guess but its pretty similar to the portuguese word "infinito" which means infinite or infinity so... i guess the meaning cant be very different. I have seen some cases where a single word changes into 2 or three, each of them with very different meaning though
i was wondering...for those who can speak portuguese, how do you say "matraquilhos" in english?(for those who don't, whats this called? http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h...
