Jane Austen discussion

This thread is to determine if anyone wants to read Mary Simonsen's Searching for Pemberley, re-released last month, December 2009. We'll be aiming past the current Emma discussions and looking at possibly a late February discussion kick off. Anyone interested?

Please do not begin the discussion here until everyone has had a chance to voice in and choose an agreed time!!!!

After we determine who might want to join in, we'll begin threads in this same folder.

Please post if you simply have questions, especially since this is slightly new in the JA group.

No interest yet, but I will look at my reading list and probably read it soon anyway. I will possibly move it to after Jane Bites Back discussion, which Jeannette will specifically moderate. That way if anyone wants to read Pemberley after that, they will have more time. Have a great day!

Hey, I would be interested--just have to see if this book is available at my bookstore. I am definitely waiting to start Jane Bites Back (just got an email about it).

Shaun, if you can obtain it, I will move the discussion later to give you time to read and discuss Jane Bites Back. By then we might have more members joining us. Since we are reading it on the side, we won't worry about month time frames or anything. Thanks for your interest and glad you are in the group.

Hi Sarah, just wanted to let you know that I got the book today. I'll start on it as soon as I finish Jane Bites Back (probably will be Wednesday next week).

Hey Sarah, I'm almost done with the book (I read fast). I saw the notice that it will start on March 1st. Is that still so? I'll cram in a few other books in between now and then!

I just started Searching for Pemberley, too. I like it so far.

I posted that as the date kind of arbitrarily. Like I mentioned earlier, I thought a few folks who were doing Jane Bites Back might pick up the book and join us, so I was giving them (and me!) some time to get the book and get going. Yes, enjoy a few books while you are waiting on us and we should all catch up by then.
