After reading the introduction, I had a "well, duh" type of moment - something on the lines of, "That's one reason why my kids who are in science and wrote their letters on science were more successful." (At KHS)One thing I wonder about is how to do this more often within the Lang. Arts classroom while also trying to differentiate and collaborate. Seems a bit overwhelming when I think of those concepts combined with having book of choice or lit. circles. Hmmmm... any thoughts, or do I just need to keep reading?
