Who is your favorite Author and of course WHY?

Susane Colasanti I think. I like the way she Write's, it's clear and easy also she write's in two or how ever many else perspective's.

I have so many favorite authors. I love Kim Harrison JR Ward, Rachel Vincent, Charlaine Harris, Patricia Briggs, and Kelley Armstrong. I love strong series books and each of these women puts forth their best in every book they write.

Well--since this is a YA board, I'm going to stick to YA writers.

I love Enid Blyton--her mysteries and adventures were a great deal of fun.

Diana Wynne Jones also writes lovely humourous books.

Stephenie Meyer's was another writer that I enjoyed. Even when she got somewhat off course in the Twilight books.

There are a great many others as well (Susan Cooper, Andre Norton's YA books, Robert Heinlein's YA books) but we'll just limit it to a few.

I love, love, LOVE, Libba Bray & Lisa Mantchev. They have such amazing talents at mixing humor & drama into their novels, it's just beautiful.
