Woah. Good advice. Also use real life experiences. Try to describe how you feel constantly, or the worst/best thing that ever happened to you.
Yeah and it doesn't always have to be the worst or the best thing, it can be about anything else in between!
Yeah, but that always seems to work for me. And, you can always do anything in between, as you said. :)
usually people write poetry to express their feelings or expressions or something that just happened.great advice, I'm gonna use it the next time I write some poems!

glogster is like blogging only it's called glogging and you don't write about yourself. you can make posters about anything you want! It's a lot of fun!

But, that being said, I can tell you this. Think of a time when you felt a particular emotion. Whether it's anger, frustration, deppresion, joy, love, pity, or even fear! But it has to be a STRONG emotion.
After you've done that, think of how you want your poem to be layed out. My favorite type is quartlets, but I also enjoy couplets.
Once you've done that, then all you need to do is type everything out! Let the words flow out of you like a fountain.
Remember, RE-READ YOUR POEM!!!! Maybe a couple times if you want to. It makes you feel good, AND it will help catch errors you might have made while typing.
That's all the advice I can give you right now. Good Luck!
