The Next Best Book Club discussion

I realized no one had mentioned the passing of Erich Segal (on Jan. 17th), who wrote the immensely famous book and screenplay, Love Story. The hardcover sat on the NYT best-seller list for over a year. Surprisingly, it was his first novel, but not his last.

I really can't believe his passing didn't get more press. I mean, everyone saw or read Love Story.

I, also, had no idea... What a mistake not to make his death more of an issue. You are absolutely right, F1.
