Isaiah walked through the park eating his ice cream.

Eli sat at a bench reading a book.

As Isaiah walked through the park he saw Eli. He ran because he didn't want her to see him. God knows how nervous he got around her.

Eli spotted Isaiah and called his name, "Isaiah!"

"Um... um.. Hey Eli." he said. Aw man. what do i do now

"Sit down." she said, "How've you been?"

"I've been great and you?" He said as his palms got sweaty.

"I've been great too, much better...now that you're here." she said smiling.

"Awesome." He said turning red.

"Yeah." she said, "So, I see you have an ice cream cone." she said trying to start conversation. Man I hope I don't sound stupid

"Want some? I do want one?" Isaiah asked.

"Sure..." she said not sure of herself. She never shared ice cream before!

"Here" he said handing her the ice cream.

"You sure?" she asked, "If you want it..."

"By all means go ahead." he said smiling.

"Okay." she said as she took the cone and then hesitantly licked it. "Yum!" she said.

"I know. Its my favorite." He said smiling.

She laughed, "I'm honored that you would give it to me! So how's your life?"

"Same things, different day. How about you?" he said. She has a great laugh. he thought.

"Same ol' same ol'." She said. "But, I just broke up with Matt, so...I'm a little heart broken." her smile faded.

"Aw. Do you need a hug?" He asked playfully even though he was serious.

"Yeah." she said almost in tears.

He hugged her and held her in his arms.

she hugged him back and felt a slight spark between them. She didn't want to let go.

"You okay?" he asked trying not to notice how close they were.

"Yeah." she said pulling away. "Thanks, I needed that." she picked up her book and stood up. "I better get going though, It's getting late."

"Oh... okay." he said sadly. "Are you walking?"

"Yeah." she said, and before she could stop herself she said, "Wanna walk me?"

"I would love to." He said.

"okay." she said, holding back a smile. "let's go."

He got up and they began to walk to her house. "What were you reading?" he asked.

((srry i was eating.))

"A book." she thought about saying, but instead she said, "It was 'The Vampire Academy' book. I forgot the title, it's really good." she said.

((its ok))

"Vampires..." He said nodding his head.

"Yeah, they're very interesting." she said still walking.

"Are you okay? He asked.

"Yeah," she said, "Why wouldn't I be?" she said plopping the last pieces of ice cream cone in her mouth.

"You just seem, i dont know different." He said watching her closely.

((i am gonna be on and off for a while, today.))

"Oh, really..." she said looking down.

"Yea... really." He said lifting her head up so he could look in her eyes. "Stop looking down" he said softly.

"Okay." she said smiling a little. She reached her house and stood there. "Well here I am." she said.

"Oh. Well, i was wondering... never mind." he said sadly.

"Okay, then." she said still standing there. "Well I guess I better go then?" she was unsure about leaving.

"Okay." he said as he leaned in and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Just what she wanted. "Bye." She smiled and went inside.

"Sweet dreams, my sweet." It slipped out before he could stop it. "Sorry." he said embarrassed. He was just so happy she didnt push him away.

She came back outside, "Don't apoligize. Sweet?...that's different. I like it." she said softly. "See you tomorrow at the bench?"

"Definitely. As long as it keeps that smile on your face." He said smiling.
