Guys can anyone tell me a bit more about this book? is it a good read ?

It's pure Paranormal Romance, as are all the stories in that series. It's quite good, the characters are very likable, the world is very believable, and the story line is engaging. It's very sexual and the sex scenes are hot.

This book (and the whole Demonica series) is great! If you like hot paranormal romance then you should check out these reads. I originally thought I wouldn't be into the whole Demon hospital thing but it totally works.

This is a great series - a definite read in my book.

It's wonderful, and it's about a demon DOCTOR...I have a thing for doctors :D. The sex scenes are very hot regarding the fact that the book has a pretty fast-paced, dominant story. I LOVE it!

Me too, love how all the brothers are different (vampire, werewolf) and they have a sister that should exist. Such a shame the series ended.

Larissa Ione does an amazing job with these characters and this UG, Underworld General. Very engaging realities with the portals and variety of demons, ghosts, ets. I thought it was well written and created characters that I really cared about. Each character is so unique and I loved the twin thing with Gem and Tayla, and of course, cannot forget the Goth.

I've read the Demonica seriers and have just finished the #2 book in the 4 horsemen series, I can't get enough of Larissa Ione.

Its funny and sexy but the story still stay strong despite all the yummy sex going about. (unlike some books i refuse to mention). Something truly worth reading. The characters evolve as the story proceeds. You can see they somewhat mature in their own way. Read it. You so wouldnt regret it (unless you dont like it).

I love Larissa Ione. It doesn't get much hotter. Definitely read this book, you will get addicted to the series.

These books are great. I loved the first series. Haven’t started to read the horseman books yet, but I can’t wait.

I agree... and if you want a bit more hot try The Sydney Croft ARCO series ( 6 books)

I also agree with this - the 4 Horse men books are also good - but not as much SEX

I have read the first one and found it very good. I loved all the hot sex and really enjoyed the demon hospital part. Can't wait to get to the next one and see what else is going to come!

Larrissa Ione is a goddess!
Demonica and Lords of Deliverance are the absolute best! I've read all of the Demonica and actually cried when I finished the final book...but then the spin off Lords of deliverance had me hooked yet again!
I am patiently..ok, maybe not patiently..but waiting none the less, for Lethal Rider then after that Rogue Rider! Larissa is an excellent author!

I love this series and definitely will read Lords of Deliverance since they follow the characters from the Demonica series as well. I am on book 4 in as many days! Can't put these down!

my bad, not Lords of Deliverance, however those look good too, but the Horsemen...

I'm a huge fan of Larissa Ione and will read anything she writes. The sex scenes are so steaming and well written but it's the story lines that keep people coming back for more. If you like these books try Keri Auther, she another of my favs

excellent choice... then also read her Lords of Deliverance series (it ties back to Demonica) and is a great series also

and for something completely different (HOT sex) read the ARCO series by Sydney Croft (colabration between Larissa Ione and Stephine Tyler

Pleasue Unbound is actually my least favorite of the series, she breaks the rules of her world without giving any reason. Suddenly there is a girl demon where before she said straight out only boys are born incubi.

Love this series.

I have all of the Acro books except the last one. Can't wait to dive into these!

fyi you don't have to read them in sequence but if you do the final book will make way more sense

I HAVE to read a series in order! Plan to get the last book soon! I won't read them until I have the whole set

understood - i usually read the whole series too when i can - but sometimes have to wait a year to get the next book the author put out - but ARCO is an completed series now

Awful, I mean totally vile. I read this first book today and boy, did my husband cringe when I cursed a blue streak after another. Story in itself is not bad. Sex scenes are okay as well. But everything else reminds me of HC diary session of a 13 year old chick. OMG wouldn't it be AWESOME if he was a doctor! And let's make him a SEX demon too. Oh and yes, he's desperately looking for a mate - for life, no less. Ooh! And he can't even do himself, poor baby, so he won't ever watch porn! Let's not forget the magical sperm! Why stop here? Let's make him also disgustingly protective and jealous, of course, but at the same time magically gentle and understanding. Some personal trauma as a cherry on the top?

And this was only the male hero, I'm too disappointed in the female character to even start on her.

All this and more. It was so cliche all the other cliches of the world got jealous.

Well it's not the paranormal I resent, it's the mundane part with all the cliches that killed this book for me.

I'm not trying to insult anyone, I just didn't like the book. It was really bad in my opinion.

But it does tickle my imagination to see all the raves about the series. Does it improve later on? How are the following books in this series compared to for example Black Dick Brotherhood (or was it Black Dagger Brotherhood?). I've tried reading those and though I find them boring and predictable, at least the characters did not make me want to dig my own eyes out.

The stories improved! Especially during the last book. That was my favorite. Then, if you can endure enough to read all the books of this series, then proceed to reading the lord of deliverance. It's a much better series than this.:D

And, I agree about the predictability of BDB... so boring...
