I just finished Blow Fly by Patricia Cornwell. It was a good read, but I always find that she keeps you on the edge of your seat until the last 50 pages... Then she is in a mad rush to sum up the rest of the book. So I feel so rushed and like to much is happening all at once.
I just finished
Heat Wave by Richard Castle. Its a quick fun read for anyone a fan of the TV show Castle

I just finished "Breakfast with Buddha" by Roland Merullo. I didn't like it the first time I started it but another book club recommended it and I tried again - inspirational, thought provoking and fun!
Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. I really enjoyed it. So many people had warned me that it as a heavy read. It wasn't at all!!! It was a great adventure with mystery and love all thrown together!
True Compass: A Memoir by Edward M. Kennedy. No matter what you think of Ted Kennedy he lived an amazing life. The book does not make excuses but just tells his story.
I'm late to this thread so here are my 3 read so far in February:The Keep by Jennifer Egan-This was okay but really all over the place. I felt like the author threw out a bunch of stuff but didn't finish all the story lines she created.
Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins-Book #2 in the Hunger Games series (which I read in January)-I loved this-I've been totally sucked in by this series and now I need to wait until August to read the 3rd book in the series!
Body Surfing by Anita Shreve. I liked this but didn't love it. I did like how Shreve gets into family dynamics and past hurts without really belaboring the point. Definitely entertaining.

Joanie, I love The Hunger Games Series. I really can't wait till the 3rd one is out this year. I'm dying to know what happens.
I am presently in a Kristin Hannah reading jag. I have finished Between Sisters and Distant Shores. Right now I am working on Firefly Lane.
