What was this book about? Did you run into this book or did someone else recommend it?
Um actually it we had to read it for my french class last year. Its about a blind girl and a pastor and his family that takes her in after her grandmother dies. but its really weird.
Well, it does sound interesting... like you said.
I'm going to read The Little Prince in French as soon as I feel like my French skills are sufficient....

I think that's a good idea, reading books in a different language. I'm going to try it soon with a book in Spanish. However, it'll probably be one that I have so I can referance back to it instead of getting a dictionary every few seconds.
thats good, i think.im glad my computer has a dictionary, i used to go there every 5 minutes, but now, hardly ever
I read a book that had been translated over from Spanish to English by a Carlos Ruiz Zafón. It was titled The Shadow of the Wind. I loved it, but I did not care for its prequel. He has the most amazing sense of imagry of any writer I've read. Paints a wonderful picture of 1945 Barcelona Spain
Barcelona, *Big Eyes full of dreams*
Some day....

I wish I had a super good reason to go to Barcelona. Too bad I can't get my sisters to travel overseas with me, maybe my husband wouldn't feel the need to be my shadow.
