I happened to pick up this book, grabbing the book from the library. I didn't read the synopsis so I had no idea what to expect. I loved the book and was barely able to put it down.

Was anyone else love this book?

I loved Soulless too! The cover really caught my eye, and I had to pick it up. Can't wait until Changeless come out. I hear, though there will be less Lord Maccon in the next book, which is very disappointing.

It is disappointing. I wonder how many books she plans to have in the series?

I also loved Soulless! I had not heard that there will be less Lord Maccon in the next book, that's too bad.

There was an author chat a couple days ago on GR with Gail Carriger and I asked her how many books she was planning for the series and this is her response:

"I'm under contract with Orbit for three books: Soulless, Changeless, and Blameless. I could see a few more after that but not many (at least not with these characters). Not to be crass, but any more than three is, I suspect, entirely dependent upon sales."
