Catamorandi (wwwgoodreadscomprofilerandi) | 130 comments 2010 list so far:

The Secret Life of Bees
The Graveyard Book

The Secret Life of Bees - 3/5

It was interesting on many accounts, but I thought the story line was a little weak.

The Graveyard Book - 5/5

I liked this book very much. I thought it was kind of graphic for the kids it was intended for, though.

I finally finished Blink. It was hard going for a while there. It started out as very interesting, but it ended up totally boriing. It seemed like he was going over the same thing multiple times when he didn't have to.

My list for 2010 now is:

1. The Secret Life of Bees - 3/5
2. The Graveyard Book - 5/5
3. Blink - 2/5

#4. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass 5/5

It is a very enjoyable read. It is very creative and fanciful. I do, however, think that Lewis Carroll was on drugs when he was writing it. It sounds like it is coming from a drug-induced fog. I really enjoyed all of the characters. They were all so silly. I can see what someone in another group I am in said it was for kids and adults, and I agree wholeheartedly.

No, he dreamed a lot of it.

Catamorandi (wwwgoodreadscomprofilerandi) | 130 comments You know what? I am freaking myself out with all of my goals. The reading isn't fun anymore. It is like I am on a time schedule all over again. I am just going to read what I want, when I want. I don't like putting constraints on myself when it comes to reading.

Jordan (flyinglogicmonkey) | 150 comments Yeah, don't let it become not fun. Read what you want, when you want. :)

Reading should be fun. It allows you to enter a new realm without people thinking you are crazy.

Catamorandi (wwwgoodreadscomprofilerandi) | 130 comments #5. Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech 3/5

It was interesting sometimes, and it was dull sometimes. It kind of bounced up and down for me. I really like all of the characters, especially Phoebe. It is about a girl looking for her mom. It was an OK book.

Catamorandi (wwwgoodreadscomprofilerandi) | 130 comments #6. Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood by Rebecca Wells 1/5

I could not even get half-way through with this book. I found it flat and boring. It took me 3 weeks to read a third of the book. I decided it wasn't worth the time or effort to continue.
