Andrez (andrez-ssi) I think Beautiful Creatures is a dark romance but you already know that book so...

Jason | 21 comments I've read Hit List & Hit Parade that are based on a Assassin that also collects Stamps. Interesting Juxtaposition should take a look and see if the author had continued with it.

Hmmm I wouldn't have called Anita Blake dark fiction of course I've always been bad on picking genres

Not seriously dark but tipping on borderline. A kick butt female assassin, grave yards, lots of killing, and some dark humor.

(We have a lot of young readers in this group and I wouldn't recommend this book as plain fantasy.)

Angela B That's true I guess...of course I was one of those messed up children that started reading this at like 15 so I probably just don't think about it since I did it myself

I didn't much take care of what I read when i was young either. There were a few books that I decided to stop reading on my own. However, my parents did not check into what I was reading. They were probably happy I was reading anything instead of running the streets.

Angela B My dad use to say he was going to read what my sister and I were reading to see what it's all about but he never did

A harmless threat! LOL!

Angela B Exactly :) and now I'm a big girl and what I'm reading doesn't matter to him at all.
Him, My sister, and I all use to read the harry potter books and discuss them together, those were good times I must say!!
