I can't remember if I suggested this one before, but it's a great book! I have the second, and received the third for Christmas.

Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1) by Jeaniene Frost Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost
(Night Huntress, #1)

Flirting with the grave...
Half-vampire Catherine Crawfield is going after the undead with a vengeance, hoping that one of these deadbeats is her father--the one responsible for ruining her mother's life. Then she's captured by Bones, a vampire bounty hunter, and is forced into an unholy partnership.

In exchange for finding her father, Cat agrees to train with the sexy night stalker until her battle reflexes are as sharp as his fangs. She's amazed she doesn't end up as his dinner--are there actually good vampires? Pretty soon Bones will have her convinced that being half-dead doesn't have to be all bad. But before she can enjoy her new found status as kick-ass demon hunter, Cat and Bones are pursued by a group of killers. Now Cat will have to choose a side . . . and Bones is turning out to be as tempting as any man with a heartbeat.

Kill Me Twice (Bullet Catcher, #1) by Roxanne St. Claire Kill Me Twice by Roxanne St. Claire
(Bullet Catcher, #1)

From bestselling author Roxanne St. Claire comes a sensational new novel of dangerous desires, dark deceptions -- and one drop-dead gorgeous bodyguard.

WATCH YOUR BACK

Alex Romero is the hottest "Bullet Catcher" in the business. Tall, dark, and deadly if necessary, this high-priced bodyguard's got the muscle and the moves -- especially when it comes to the ladies. Alex can keep his beautiful clients out of danger, but sometimes they can't keep their hands off of him. Now Alex has one last chance to prove he belongs among the elite force known as The Bullet Catchers, but his assignment is stacked...against him.

WATCH YOUR HEART

Private investigator Jasmine Adams is fiercely independent and fearless under pressure -- she doesn't need some hunk-for-hire's help to catch the creep stalking her twin sister. But when Jazz uncovers bigger forces targeting her sister for death, she's glad to have Alex's brain and brawn handy. From the steamy streets of Miami to the sultry beaches of Key West, Alex and Jazz try to fight temptation as they race to keep a madman from fulfilling his promise to kill not just once, but twice. And some temptations are too powerful to resist....

First in the new "Bullet Catchers" series by Roxanne St. Claire.

My nominees for March 2010 Books of the Month are as follows:

The Remarkable Miss Frankenstein by Minda Webber The Remarkable Miss Frankenstein by Minda Webber (MMP)

From the author's web site:

The problem, Clair realized, was that she was a Frankenstein. Her uncle's fame - he'd created her cousin Frederick from a bunch of spare parts - was a grave matter. Everyone in the family was a success, while all she'd managed was a humiliating misadventure with pigs. But her spirits were rising. The Journal of Scientific Discovery was promising to publish a paper on the Discovery of the Decade, and she had a doozy. She simply had to prove Baron Huntsley - man of distinction, man of renown, man about ton - was a vampire. With his midnight-black hair, soul-piercing eyes and shiny white teeth, what else cold he be? Oh yes, the baron wanted a bite of her or she was no scientist. And then there were all those other monsters. You'd never expect so many in 1828 London! Pretty soon she'd expose them all, and on everybody's lips would be...THE REMARKABLE MISS FRANKENSTEIN.

Master of Ecstasy (Mackenzie Vampires series, Book 1) by Nina Bangs Master of Ecstasy(Mackenize Vampires, Book 1) by Nina Bangs(MMP)

Time travel, vampires, and the Scottish highlands . . . this book seems to have it all.

From Booklist:

Blythe's time-travel trip to 1785 was advertised as a sexual adventure, but she knows better than to mix business and pleasure. As an employee of a twenty-third-century corporation, Ecstasy, Inc., Blythe, whose job is to help people become happy, has one chance to prove to her boss that she'll never get personally involved with a client again. Then she meets her new subject, Darach Mackenzie, a very sexy 500-year-old vampire. Firmly believing that sex is the solution to any problem, Darach tries to tempt Blythe, but even though he promises that her neck is safe with him, Blythe knows surrendering to Darach could be dangerous: What about the rest of her body? Bangs puts a sinfully sensual, darkly brooding hero together with a stubborn heroine; adds an amusing cast of secondary characters, including a white cat with a gift for causing trouble; and then mixes in several different paranormal elements and equal measures of passion and humor to create her latest wonderfully creative, utterly unique romance.
