I've read Fallen it's pretty good! But in the spirit of nominating I think I shall add Everything is Illuminated :)
Jo wrote: "Anymore? I see people aren't really very enthusiastic about group reads anymore lol"I would love to do a group read, but my TBR pile is HUGE & I don't think anyone is interested in what I'm planning (sort of) to read over the next month. Just in case I'm wrong:
The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein
A Rush of Wings by Adrian Phoenix
The Baby Blue Rip-Off by Max Allan Collins
Fifty-to-One by Charles Ardai (Who also happens to be the editor of Hard Case Crime, the company that published the book.)
I have a lot of others, but a lot are in series & not the first ones. Anyway, use what you like or think might fit.
Jim -- The Art of Racing in the Rain is one of my all time favorites. I'll discuss it with you, let me know when you are done!
That's good to hear, Diane. It doesn't look like my normal read at all. I don't know why I got it. Mom or someone must have talked me into it. Sounds like something she'd read with her book club.

I too loved The Art of Racing in the Rain and would discuss.
Sounds good! I'll have to get around to reading it shortly. Right now I'm working on Antagonist, the 9th & final book of the Dorsai series by Gordon R. Dickson. The first book was published 50 years ago & this book was completed from his notes after he died in 2003. After reading several of the books several times over the years, this is the first time I've sat down to read them all & in order. I've never read the last two.

I'm sure it was my fault. Probably read it, meant to get to it & got lost. Now I'm found!
(At least I know where I am...)
