They dont quite understand them selves. i think that that the they kno who theyare. i think that what they mean is that they dont know what there here for. i think there wondering what there purpose is.

i think that what they are saying with the sentense having little understanding of themselves, makes them have little respect for them, is that people who don't really know who they really are how they want to act and what they want for their life will do anything everybody else tells them to do. They will be following the crow and not caring for themselves or how low they go just in order to try to fit somewhere.where they don't belong. it also tells us that if you don't know your beliefs or what u mean to your self there is not way you gona care for anybody else. that makes you not respect yourself.

I think this means that when people finally think they know who they are they really dont know at all. its just a theory or guess of some sort.
