Jess | 3721 comments I always forget how short a month February is, it's already practically half gone. To allow time for people to get the books that end up being the BOM, we are going to start the suggestion thread now.

Each person gets one suggestion. Nominate a book in this thread, once all of the suggestions have been compiled, the mods will put together a poll. The top two winning books will then be the BOM's for March. If there is a tie, the winner will be decided via random.org.

Please Note: This is only a suggestion thread. Once a book has been nominated, it will be put on the list. There is no need for more than one person to nominate the same book.

Suggestions
1. The Remains of the Dead by Wendy Roberts
2. Skin Deep by Marc Del Franco
3. Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
4. A Kiss Before the Apocalypse by Thomas E. Sniegoski
5. Urban Shaman by C.E. Murphy
6. Kiss of Midnight by Lara Adrian
7. Beautiful Creates by Kami Garcia

Jess | 3721 comments I'm going to suggest: The Remains of the Dead by Wendy Roberts.

It's a mystery/pnr book.

Great book, Jess! This one sticks with you for awhile, mostly because of the ending.

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 3123 comments I will go with Skin Deep by Mark Del Franco. I really liked it. It is like Alias only in the paranormal world.

Nichole (DirrtyH) (dirtyh) I'm going to re-nominate Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick.

It has been forever!! Good thing it is one you are dying to read. I ended up liking it a lot more than I thought, and waaaay better than his other series.

Sarah | 766 comments Has anyone done Urban Shaman by CE Murphy? It's on my TBR pile, and it's taunting me.

message 9: by Jess (new)

Jess | 3721 comments Are you suggesting that as a book Sarah? I've actually taken it out of the library, but never got around to reading it and then it was due back. I meant to though, it looked like a good book.

Betelgeuze | 158 comments I'd like to nominate A Kiss Before the Apocalypse.

Sorry! Yes, I meant to suggest that one. I thought I'd seen it as a group read somewhere, and I couldn't remember if it was here or not.

I think it was the Urban Fantasy group, a few months ago. I got it and tried to read it but I got bored/annoyed during the first chapter. Like you can really see a knife from a plane that's still in the air. Please. I'd be willing to give it a second chance, though.

No we never had it featured here.. I think it's been nominated a few times though :)

I have read all 4 of these books and they are good, but the first book is slow.

Urban Shaman by C.E. Murphy

Kelley Anne | 1619 comments Nichole - sorry. Only one nomination per person. Which of those would you like to nominate?

sorry about that...

Nichole (DirrtyH) (dirtyh) Hey Kelley Anne - it looks like there are two Nicholes now! I nominated Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrik, and Nichole no. 2 nominated Urban Shaman by CE Murphy. So it wasn't a double nomination.
However, I think Urban Shaman had already been nominated so it didn't need to be nominated again.

Kelley Anne | 1619 comments Thanks! I'll need to start paying attention to the pics!

Jess | 3721 comments If you want to make a nomination for March, you have one more day to do so. Polls will be up and running late Tues, or Wed.

Debbie The Book Vixen (goodreadscomdebbiethebookvixen) I like Beautiful Creatures, but it's a BIG book. I am up for anything new, the books that are listed are ones I have not read except for Hush hush. I am good with the group.

message 23: by Jess (new)

Jess | 3721 comments Debbie did you want to nominate Beautiful Creatures?

message 24: by Jess (new)

Jess | 3721 comments Okay.. the poll is being placed up now, so nominations are now over. Head over to the polls section to cast your vote for March BOM.
