What was the favor that Sawyer asked Kate to do that led to Jack being so upset with her?

Was it something big, like digging up his buried treasure or killing the guy that manipulated him and sent him to Australia in the first place? Or is it something like visiting his parents' graves?

I thought it was to check up on his kid....

Yeah, i had thought that maybe she was visiting his daughter. I mean, She was all dressed up and being sneaky, so maybe she was scamming someone for him???

By the way.. between his creepy Hurley visit and Kate messing around doin whatever it was she was doin, its no wonder Jack got all depressed and messed up!! Shame on her for not being up front and honest from the get-go!

I figured out the timeline between the season finale peak with Jack as an addict. It was before. So I'm wondering who was the guy Kate was talking about when she said "He's waiting for me" was that Sawyer? Hold on huh? Sawyer has a baby???

I think Kate meant Aaron when she said that at the airport... He would have been old enough then to wonder where his 'mommy'was.... We know that Sawyer didnt make it off the island as the O6... and I dont think he gets off after that whole media thing either... since we see her and Jack fighting about the favor she did for him....

Sawyer had a baby with the woman he used in the scam... The woman that helped Kate get into the hosptial to see her mom.... Unless, like Logan said, she was scamming Sawyer back and lied about it being his kid...

well, when the O6 first came back, it was the media who gave them that name (or that is what we are led to believe anyway)...

rrright rrright. Ok I get it now. Well, wouldn't it be huge if another person claimed to be from the island when there was only suppose to be 6 who lived and the rest died? Ben would have to hide them or something.

Well, they did do it once with Micheal.. He came back to the real world with Walt, and had a new identity... no one knew he was a survivor except his mother, it would appear. SO anything is possible. And we know that Ben is the KING of fake ID's....

lol Ben is the king of so many things. But, I don't think Sawyer would do what Ben said anyways, and probably screw everything up. Unless, Claire or Kate told him not to but Kate is gone and Claire is dead so no hope there. Lost is so hopeless at pretending that Walt is still ten years old. I practically laughed when Mr. Friendly said he was ten.

Im pretty sure Sawyer stays behind on the island tho. And Claire.. well, shes not dead yet, but it certainly looks like her time is running out, doesnt it?

Yes, I've been screaming to the screen "WHY HASN'T SHE DIED YET!" And when is Jin going to die too? Their keepin people alive to long! Which is completely unlike Lost.

Ahhh.. I dont think Jin dies. I think he stays behind alive on the island, and the grave Sun and Hurley visited was just a marker... something for them to have as a reminder of him on the island.... the graves date was the date of the plane crash, so I dont think he is really dead. Just my opinion tho :D

If Sawyer is dead, or still back on the island, then she could have been talking on the phone with the mother of Sawyer's child. Maybe arranging a visit?

Or making some sort of amends for his past behaviour which he would want kept secret from everyone after all he was not such a good guy pre-island?

Hey I like the Sawyer's daughter theory, maybe he wanted Kate to do or find something out about his daugther ...

Perhaps tonite we find out what it was Sawyer wants Kate to do. We should be seeing the actual rescue/escape from the island. If he didnt ask her for a favor yet, he is bound to tonite!!

So I've been re-watching the first couple of epiosdes over the past few days, and I was paying a lot of attention to Kate's relationship with the Marshal. It kinda looks like maybe they had something going on. Just before he asks Kate to come in, the Marshal says to Jack, "So she got to you, too?" Plus Kate was pretty concerned about the Marshal and how much he suffered. Did they have something going on? Did he con her to get close enough to arrest her before she ran away to the farm in Australia? Their relationship seemed a lot more complex than your typical cop-arrestee relationship.

And I just thought he was plain pissed off because he had been following her and not able to capture her for so long. Sometimes things just pass through me on this show.

I always thought that sha had a relationship with the marshall's brother,though I don't remember why.

Was his brother the guy that Kate really loved? The one who had the toy airplane she wanted?

I used to think that he was just ticked off because she had eluded him for so long, but when I watched it again (maybe I'm being too paranoid), there seemed to be something there.

I think it was Kate's prior husband Emma, they were really happy, or so it seemed but Kate had to leave him because of the fact that she was a fugitive. But honestly I don't remember they ever saying he was the marshal's brother ...

Nope, it's not his brother. Neither of them are. I remember Tom vaguely, but I vividly remember Kate drugging Kevin. Why did Marshall offer to stop hunter her? Some secret affection would make the most sense....

I definately agree that sawyer asked kate to get in touch with clementine right before he jumped...and that was what she was trying to do...I think she lied because she knew jack could be very jealous...mho

just seems to be that had she been upfront first, he would have taken it better. sneaking and lying like that is just horrible. the guy already had his misgivings about hooking up with her off-island, and she pulls her typical Kate-selfish moves and ruins a good thing. Sometimes i just want to bitch slap her....

Contacting Clementine seems logical but what if it's something more and she genuinely can't say as she is honorable in her way?If someone I really cared for asked me to do something and I knew this person to be dead I would do my level best to do as I was asked even at personal cost,and the favor was promised before she hooked up with Jack.So as frustrating as it is Jack could try a little trust(though if I were Jack I would probably respond the same way)

I have heard the audio enhanced version of Sawyer says to Kate. If you don't want to know I would suggest not reading any more. I can't remember exactly but it is something along the lines of I have a daughter and tell her i'm sorry or I have a daughter and tell her i'm sawyer. It is still real hard to hear. I bet you could look on lostpedia and they would have it. I don't know for sure.
